Synopsis
Young Ganga is sold to a brothel in Mumbai in the 1950s. She goes on to become the feared Gangubai – the Matriarch of Kamathipura – who goes on to champion female emancipation and advocate rights for sex workers in a chauvinist and narrow-minded society.
